St Edmunds has been a guest house for 30+ years and has seen many changes during that time. The latest owners Roger & Linda, purchased the property in December 2019 and have spent this last two years completely re-decorating inside and out to a modern high standard. Whilst it retains 1850’s charm, it has a modern twist which reflects todays discerning traveller. We hope you like our choices.

We have a parking space for each room, so if you arrive by car park it up and use the good public transport which runs between Paignton, Torquay, Brixham, Newton Abbot and Totnes, with Exeter and Plymouth just a train ride away. The excellent Steam train runs between Paignton and Kingswear with a ferry ride to Dartmouth. Bus, Steam and Mainline trains are all just a 5-minute level stroll from St Edmunds, as is Paignton town centre. Bars, restaurants, cafe’s, Paignton Pier and Harbour are all within a five-minute stroll, which makes either an early morning or late evening walk beside the beach a pleasure not to be missed.
